A utility and civil works specialist that is growing in Queensland is recruiting a Project Engineer in Brisbane to deliver pipe and civil projects from planning to handover. Work spans deep sewer, water, rising and gas mains.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan sewer, water and gas works on civil and utility jobs, and review them as they progress
- Prepare drawings, specifications, quantities and tender documentation
- Own the program and the budget of each project, including cost reports
- Deal with authorities and subcontractors as well as clients and asset owners
- Back up the crews on site with technical guidance, RFIs and variations
- Hold projects to the required quality, safety and environmental standards, and help prepare risk assessments, SWMS and ITPs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- A work history in utility, pipeline or civil construction
- Knowledge covering Australian Standards and Queensland water and sewer authority requirements
- Knowledge covering in-situ and precast concrete
- Ordering of materials, plant and equipment hire
- Strong skills in communication and with stakeholders
- Full Australian work rights and a current Queensland driver's licence
- Desirable: a White Card, and experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software
