Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing that is safe, compassionate and evidence-based across ED, acute and aged care settings
- Collaborate with patients, carers and other health disciplines in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care
- Fill the Nurse in Charge role across ED (including triage), acute and aged care services
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Promote positive patient experiences
- Uphold consistent clinical standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse whose AHPRA registration is current
- Clinical capability and confidence, with the ability to thrive in a rural healthcare environment
- Works independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of, or willingness to take on, Nurse in Charge duties across ED (including triage), acute and aged care
- Commitment to patient-centred care; strong communication, clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Immunisation and screening for certain diseases (Category A position)
