Drawing-led fabrication and pipe assembly are at the centre of these full-time Brisbane positions for experienced special class welders, boilermakers and pipefitters. The work covers stainless and carbon steel, with welders using GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW processes.
Pipefitters assemble pipes with gaskets, valves and associated equipment against differing specifications. Planning the work and providing leadership sit alongside the hands-on tasks. Technical knowledge and clear verbal communication are important across the roles, while the qualification preference for pipefitters is set out separately below.

Key Responsibilities
- Use GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW for the welding tasks.
- Assemble pipes with their gaskets, valves and associated equipment to the specified requirements, using stainless and carbon steel.
- Read drawings and interpret the information needed for the job.
- Plan the work and provide leadership during delivery.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Be trade qualified; a trade qualification is preferred for pipefitters.
- Have professional experience in welding and fabrication.
- Pipefitters need experience in pipe laying.
- Bring experience using stainless and carbon steel, together with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and high-level technical knowledge.
- Have excellent planning skills and good verbal communication.
- Meet the requirement for Australian work rights or sponsorship eligibility.
