The successful candidate directs the coffee programme, sustains the quality and efficiency of drink preparation, coaches fellow baristas and contributes to product innovation. The working pattern is full-time, 5am to 2pm from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.
Positions are eligible for employee sponsorship under the Far North Queensland Designated Area Migration Agreement (FNQ DAMA).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, upskilling and management of the barista team
- Provide each customer with a genuine, efficient, top-tier coffee experience
- Run QC cupping sessions alongside the roasting team and assist with green bean purchasing selections
- Undertake production roasting as required
- Uphold WH&S standards across the space
Requirements & Eligibility
- Specialty coffee experience and in-depth knowledge; a Q-grader, cupping, competition, barista training and/or roasting background is highly advantageous
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- A love of people and customer service
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with a growth mindset
- Willingness to start at 5am
