Business owners need financial advice they can use in everyday decisions. In this full-time Sydney Client Manager position, you will take responsibility for an existing public practice portfolio and help clients understand performance, cash flow, tax and their plans for the business.
The firm uses monthly subscriptions and does not use timesheets. Your work therefore centres on ongoing advisory relationships, supported by sound accounting and taxation compliance. Candidates with appropriate experience and verified credentials may be considered for sponsorship, subject to eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an established client portfolio, maintaining trusted relationships with business owners and supporting their ongoing advisory needs.
- Discuss financial results with clients and identify business risks, improvement areas and opportunities.
- Translate commercial analysis into practical guidance for planning and strategic choices.
- Assist clients with cash flow management and financial forecasts.
- Advise on accounting and taxation, oversee compliance obligations and collaborate with colleagues to deliver accurate work of a high standard.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years in public practice accounting; hold a CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated success managing and advising business clients, with strong business advisory and relationship management capability.
- Excellent communication that establishes credibility and trust, and confidence engaging directly with business owners and key decision-makers.
- Commercial awareness and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Sound understanding of compliance obligations in accounting and taxation.
- Professional experience and qualifications must be capable of verification for employer consideration.
- Experience gained in Australia will be highly regarded.
