Quality and efficiency guide the work of this boutique Brisbane accounting practice, which uses fixed fees without timesheets or traditional targets. It is seeking a full-time Junior / Intermediate Accountant for Tax & Business Services, serving a diverse client portfolio.
Working closely with a Senior Manager, you will contribute to accounts, tax compliance and general business services, with exposure to tax planning and advisory work as your experience develops. Visa sponsorship opportunities are available for suitable candidates who need employer support.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Prepare BAS for these clients and assist with tax compliance and general business services.
- Communicate with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to produce quality work and excellent outcomes for clients.
- Build exposure to tax planning as your experience develops.
- Extend your involvement in business advisory services as you gain experience.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have a minimum of 18 months' Australian public practice accounting experience within Tax & Business Services.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting and be interested in completing, or already studying towards, a CA or CPA qualification.
- Bring experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
- Combine strong communication with excellent attention to detail.
- Show a positive, motivated attitude and a genuine desire to develop your accounting career further.
