A Sydney firm that manufactures HVAC equipment is recruiting a degree-qualified mechanical engineer on a full-time, permanent basis. The engineer will devise tailor-made mechanical solutions for specialist products.
The position is limited to applicants already in Australia with the legal right to work. Sponsorship may be available for candidates who are well qualified.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical requirements supplied by clients and consultants
- Develop practical mechanical designs for HVAC applications from those requirements
- Design compressors, fans, heat exchangers and similar components, and review them
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical and controls engineers
- Communicate with mechanical consultants and internal teams to resolve technical challenges
Requirements & Eligibility
- Mechanical engineering degree
- Demonstrated HVAC design experience
- Proficiency in mechanical design tools and familiarity with the key HVAC components
- Effective communication, with comfort working among diverse engineering teams and external consultants
- Legal work entitlement in Australia, for example Permanent Residency or equivalent
